Peru, a land shrouded in mystery, a country where an intoxicating blend of different cultures, traditions and religion have become inextricably intertwined. Our South American adventure allowed us an opportunity to explore a fascinating and unforgettable land. Being welcomed by the Peruvian people was both a privilege and a pleasure. Watching the condors rise up on the thermals from the Colca Canyon is etched in my mind. All in all a profound and mesmerising experience. We hope you enjoy taking a look at our photographs. Peru captured my heart. The warmness of the people and their unique take on life. The diversity of the landscape and contrast between city and country living. The colours, the vibrancy and enthusiasm for life. This, to me, is the essence of Peru and is, therefore, why one day I hope to return.
Thank you for taking a look at our photos of Peru. Peru is an incredible country. We, most of all, loved our outdoor experiences. Machu Picchu was the highlight, and additionally, seeing the condors. Equally so, I will always remember the wedding we stumbled across, the colours, the music, the drama of the occasion. Kerry loved our market trips, the resourcefulness of the people, their ingenuity and passion for their products. Also, our trip to Lake Titicaca was amazing. To witness an innovative people who have created their homes utilising the reeds that grow there.
